It is an image I have elaten in the lead when instruction about the America Civil War. The black and neat movie is capturing the at rest(predicate) passs lying on a battle area after the affair at Gettysburg in 1863. The exposureer, Timothy H. OSullivan worked with the well-known photographer, Mathew Brady, to capture images of the Civil War. The reason why I was drawn to this particular photograph, however, is because of the emphasis placed on the pass lying on his back with his face upwards, pointing slightly towards the camera. His dead expression is very chilling. Another thing that drew me to this photograph is that you can see in the distance, the abundance of dead bes scattered across the war stricken bailiwick which added to the chilling mood of the photograph.

Here you can see there is a crew of men who bearing to be stuck or impel onto an ice structure. There are men who have been thrown hit their ship or boat, who go down wound in the snow along with various items that were thrown off the ship as well.
